A writ of mandamus lies to compel a judge to issue a writ of execution when the judgment had already become final and executory and the prevailing party is entitled to the same as a matter of right.[10]

hi.need an explanation re:Sec.9, Rule 65 of the 1997 Revised Civil Procedure.In relation thereto,is there a need to file a writ of execution for the enforcement of the mandamus order which already attained finality.thank you
